Harriet's Tea Tips 🫖

I often get asked how much caffeine is present in a cup of tea, and how is it different to coffee?

Caffeine in tea acts differently by
• not being as fast releasing
• not giving you that sharp high
• interacting with the amino acids in tea, so that when it hits our brains, it relaxes us.

If you are like me, and drink one or two (or ten!) cups of tea a day, you might be surprised just how much caffeine you are actually consuming.

Here are the approximate caffeine levels for a 250ml serve:

White Tea 30-55 mg
Green Tea 35-70 mg
Black Tea 60-90 mg
Coffee 100 mg

It is interesting to note that your average Chocolate bar contains approximately 10mg of caffeine! #harrietsteatips
